The company history of the Freiberger family
From a small bakery to a major company, from rural Chiemgau in Bavaria to the capital Berlin: The leitmotiv of each successive generation the Freiberger family has always been characterized by the entrepreneurial courage to embark on a new venture rather than simply pass the business on to the next in line. It all began with a village bakery in Amerang in Chiemgau. In the course of the following century, four generations launched a series of businesses in diverse industries. Highly innovative in the food sector, the family subsequently went on to invest in the future-oriented areas of property development, healthcare and hotellery, in which it still operates today.
